Introduction

We should be aware that everybody in this world needs to maintain our right to live as a way to exist for more years in our lifetime. Blood donation is one of the best methods for a person to increase their longevity from a life-threatening injuries or diseases. Health care organizations are always looking for donors on an everyday basis to collect blood so that it will have the chance to help other individuals who are critically ill or needing an emergent infusion to replenish their circulatory system. We usually observe that there are several institutions around the world that are willing to provide new opportunities to ensure that it can provide a significant help to prevent other individuals from dying. No wonder why health care agencies are promoting blood donation activities around the world that are usually established in hospitals, health care agencies, and clinics at any time.

Our society should know that the importance of blood donation provides available resources for health care institutions to collect a variety of blood products used for patients needing an immediate medical intervention to a certain community. Hospital institution will be segregating the blood products that will be used for patients needing a specific type of blood or blood products in order for them to survive or to be treated. In this case, the value of blood donation aims to decrease instances of mortality and morbidity for individuals who are suffering from a terminal illness where blood donation is the only cure for them to regain their strength. Blood donation keeps the patient alive by providing a supplementary blood transfusion activity so that they can live a longer life instead of dying from blood loss.

In our society with respect for the donor, blood donation is important because it help to replace old blood products into new blood products. This means that when there are newly replaced blood products in your body, you will be able to increase your stamina as there will be more cellular structures that are healthy enough to carry oxygen to help metabolize your system. The donor will be able to increase their immune response for the reason that having healthier cells will provide a more potent protection against invasive microorganisms once that the body fully regenerated after donating blood. Donors are also able to help patients who need an immediate intervention because they are considered good Samaritans to improve the health of other individuals. Blood donation is considered a heroic act because a person sacrifices their health in order to save others (Atsma & De Vegt, 2011).

We should all know that blood donation is always important because it allows health care institutions to have available blood and blood products to supplement the growing needs of patients needing an immediate medical attention. In this case, the significance of allowing blood products to have continued bloodletting activities by the health care department is to support the campaign for the health care organizations to provide storage for the hospitals. Health care institutions are able to ensure that their facilities will not run out of facilities and available blood products, which maintains their degree of health care credibility of offering an intensive health care service for their patients. If we continue this kind of having a good Samaritan in our society, we are able to generate inspiring practices for the younger generations to follow in the future.
