The event was a significant milestone in the United States because it is one of the most important activity that first United States resident established their real identities to the world. This paper aims to discuss the significance of the American Revolution. It seeks to answer the question if the American Revolution was an inevitable scenario that impacted the history of the United States. Moreover, this essay will be expounding the subject matter by detailing the benefits and disadvantages of the American Revolution.

To answer the question, American Revolution is inevitable because it is a normal reaction for a territory that was previously occupied by a colonialist. This was when the golden age of exploration started to crumble in the Middle Ages when there was a nationalistic movement in the territorial United States who fought against the British Army to seeking an independence to become a new country in the western hemisphere. This was when the rise of nationalism rose to power in order to cause resistance with their colonial counterparts. The reason behind is that colonialists are aware that their occupation is only temporary because they are just seeking an expansion of a territory to prove that their nation is formidable overseas. However, the main problem is the resistance that was generated by the residents of territories that they previously occupied such as the situation with the Great Britain and the United States in the 17th century.

The beneficial outcome of the American Revolution was that it created a new nation, which is the United States of America. Under the leadership of former General George Washington, the United States of America is officially declared as an independent country on the 2nd of July in 1776, making the birth of the most powerful nation in the world today. In the modern era, the Independence Day is usually celebrated every the 4th of July each year. The disadvantage of American Revolution is the carnage after the war against the colonial United States. It generated thousands of individuals who died while sacrificing their lives to gain independence from a colonial superpower during the Middle Age era. The other undesirable outcome is the generation of opposition groups, dividing the political situation of the United States of America.

It has been learned that the inevitable outcome of the American Revolution paved a way for a nation that played a significant role in providing assistance to other societies. The reason behind is that the United States became a nation that is multicultural, allowing other countries to migrate and live peacefully together. Political, social, economic, and cultural diversities are now observed in the United States since its nationalistic revolution that helped establish a new country during the 17th century. The bloody events that took place during the American Revolution created a nation that is now considered the most powerful in the world. Many believe that without the creation of the United States of America, the world would be different today in terms of political, social, cultural, and economic related issues that affect other countries around the world (Ellis, 2013).
