Imperialism is the dominance of strong country over weak courtiers. China and India were imperialized by British government. In mid 1880s in the 21st century, British dominated over India and china. Due to this imperialism in both countries, it brought positive and negative impact on both countries. China is a well known ancient country that has been the world’s best ancient emperor. Relation between foreign states and china was a tributary in the Chinese political theory. China proclaimed its “first emperor” and became known by its name Qin Shi Huangdi by conquering all the states. China was indeed stable both in ethnocentric and agricultural before the invasion of the foreign states. China was able to produce different varieties of things since their factories could produce cotton silk, silver, tins and salt due to their porcelain natural resource. American and Europeans imperialism spread over china with an aim to extend their nation’s ability and power to control resources and land to get raw materials. Similarly in India imperialism came about when British conquered the French in a war that lasted for seven years. Through the British East India Company the British managed to have full control over India. Native soldiers called Sepoys led India revolt which led to Sepoy Mutinity. British later on, made India part of their government which saw British benefiting a lot . India became subject to British until 1947 when they achieved their independence. China was one country that undertook new imperialism since in 1912; china was ruled or governed by outside states greatly by British and other states like Russia Germany, Japan and France. Their influence marginally led to changes in countries politics, lifestyle and economy. Although there were some advantages gained through imperialism in china but mostly the end factors were valuable to the foreigners compared to the counties well beings. The policy could allow Chinese port to be equally accessed by foreign state. China was allowed to trade freely only when this policy took place but there were condition of the same. One, each and every sphere of authority or power could access to free trade. Secondly, as a result China’s government could collect trades taxes and other charges relates to the same. Thirdly, no any nation could be able to be given exemption of their  own harbor and dues of railroads. The policy majorly made America to have most benefit although china could benefit a bit. This led to china having more exports than imports. All this imperils in china by the foreign state made British to build railways and factories of which they manufactured China’s resources and exporting them to their countries. This continued until china fought back to reclaim their independence.

In India, British began its somewhat called harsh imperialism over India. Although at that time India’s economy was not well established but imperialism by brutish led to its boost while benefiting them “foreigners” largely. Moreover education, government and technology had been anglicized. Indians have benefited from imperialism by acquiring vast knowledge and knowledge on system governance. Before the invasion of foreigners in India, the Indians had small princedoms and this was a result of their culture. The Britain came and improved the system of governance in the country since they unified the small princedoms to one stable government. This was a benefit to Indians since there were lots of negative issues that arise from the small princedom. Imperialism brought technology and education that saw India grow well. However there were negative issues that arise for instance poverty became prevalent to the Indians since the disbanding of crafts work such as metal work, paper and glass.
